A kitchen work surface is an every day item that we take for granted, but for your kitty, it’s a promised land or an Aladdin’s Cave, basically a goldmine of food.
They may act as good as gold when you’re giving them a cuddle, but as soon as your back is turned they are eyeing up whatever food has been left unattended and more often than not they achieve their goal because human food is irresistible to them.
Those captivating aromas and unforgettable flavors make it virtually impossible for any feline friend to ignore.
That’s why it can be very satisfying for us when they are caught red-pawed, in the act. They become shameless and head towards any piece of food that takes their fancy.
And even though it may be funny to them catch stealing food from your plate, please remember that a lot of the food that humans eat can be potentially harmful to your kitty.
