Murphy is a 6 year old male German Shepherd Cross. Murphy’s people have to move in a few weeks to somewhere that doesn’t allow dogs as their landlord is selling their home.
This leaves Murphy homeless. We urgently need to find him somewhere to live. This can be on a supported adoption where we pay vet bills or can be a long-term foster.
Murphy just wants a quiet life. He is very loyal and responds well to confident, kind handling.
Murphy loves countryside walks, playing in the water, and lazing in the garden. He doesn’t like a lot of new people or dogs in his face and wouldn’t suit a home with a lot of visitors.
Murphy is fine with other dogs if introduced slowly but doesn’t like to share his home with them. He is anxious around children so needs an adult-only home.
If you live a fairly quiet life, love walks across the fields/in woods and want a dog that is no trouble in the home then this boy will fit marvellously.
Murphy has now had too many moves, through no fault of his. There must be a forever home out there for him. He is currently located in Frome, Somerset.
